Face to face with kung-fu masters
    2011-06-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    刘嘉明 南外滨海七(1)

On May 21, we visited the Fusion Martial Arts Club and interviewed kung-fu masters Donald Chang and Ronald Kho.

The club is one of the most modern in China, mainly teaching martial arts to foreigners in Shekou, Nanshan District.

Master Donald has been in martial arts for over 40 years. He is now an instructor of Combat Self Defense, Aikido, Judo, Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jujitsu. Amazingly, Master Ronald was primary school classmates with Bruce Lee.

I asked Ronald: “What’s the purpose of learning kung fu?”

“We not only teach students martial arts, but instill high moral values and principles as well,” Ronald gave us a warm smile. To our surprise, he was in his 70s.

Donald and Ronald stated that they would like to train more foreigners in kung fu.
