A tennis tournament
    2011-06-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    黄广 布吉中学

On June 4, we came to the Longgang Sports Center to watch a tennis tournament.

This was my first time at a live tennis tournament. I felt so excited. The tennis court was much bigger than I had thought, and all of the equipment was highly advanced.

Our teacher told us that tennis was a gentleman’s sports, so we must follow certain rules. For example, audiences are not allowed to speak loudly or use mobile phones. Audiences should not clap or cheer until each point is finished. The staff will ask you to leave if you make any noise during the play.

I saw the Universiade volunteers conduct their work. In the tennis court, they dashed around the field to pick up balls, even the weather was very hot.

After the tournament, I interviewed a volunteer. He told me he felt pleasant and was proud to volunteering for the Universiade.
