Afraid of the dark

A little boy was afraid of the dark. One night his mother told him to go out to the back porch and bring her the broom.

The little boy turned to his mother and said, “Mama, I don’t want to go out there. It’s dark.”

The mother smiled reassuringly at her son. “You don’t have to be afraid of the dark,” she explained. “God is out there. He’ll look after you and protect you.”

The little boy looked at his mother really hard and asked, “Are you sure he’s out there?”

“Yes, I’m sure. He’s everywhere, and he’s always ready to help you when you need him,” she said.

The little boy thought about it for a minute and then went to the back door and cracked it a little. Peering out into the darkness, he called, “God? If you’re out there, would you please hand me the broom?”

Missed calls

A woman wanted to reach her husband on his mobile phone but discovered that she was out of credit.

She then instructed her son to use his own phone to send an urgent message to his daddy who was at work.

Soon the son got back to mummy to inform her that it was a lady that picked up daddy’s phone three times when he tried reaching daddy.

She waited impatiently for her husband to return from work. As soon as he was back, she gave him a very hard slap while the man was trying to ask why.

She repeated the slap. Neighbors rushed around to know what was going on.

The man asked his son to tell everybody what the lady said to him when he called.

The son said, “The number you are trying to call is not reachable.”
