    You don’t have to be an expert to notice that dance and folk music have dominated the charts over the past few years. It came as no surprise then, when Avicii merged the two on “Wake Me Up” last year and went on to dominate airwaves the world over.

    Hoping to continue the public’s craving for a genre-bending anthem, Avicii’s latest single “Hey Brother” presents itself as the obvious order of choice. Part folk-tinged guitar, part-soaring club beats, the track is elevated further by the uncredited vocals of bluegrass singer Dan Tyminski. With a dash of soulful brass also thrown into the mix, the result is yet another addictive musical cocktail primed for mass consumption.
