No-brainer
     2014-April-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    简单问题

    No是“不”,brain是“大脑”。No-brainer是什么意思呢?请看对话:

A: How did you persuade Charlie to go fishing with you? He doesn’t know a thing about fishing!

B: When I presented him with the choice of sitting inside all day doing nothing or going outside with me and having a little fun, well, it was a no-brainer for him!

Note: It refers to something that requires little mental effort or intelligence to perform or understand. The term is often applied to decisions which are straightforward or sometimes to people who appear to lack intelligence. “No-brainer,” first used in the United States in the 1950s, means a person shouldn’t even have to use their brain to think when performing certain tasks or making certain decisions. For example, if someone offers you a million dollars for nothing in return, many would consider the acceptance of that offer to be a “no-brainer.”

    记住了吗?No-brainer就是“简单问题”。
