Singers give birth to baby boys on same day
     2014-April-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

OCEANS apart, Malaysian singer Fish Leong and Chinese singer Luo Qi both gave birth to baby boys by caesarean section on Friday. Leong, 31, gave birth in Taiwan while Luo, 39, gave birth in Berlin.

Luo’s baby, named Dominic, weighed in at 3.8 kilos, a little bit heavier than Leong’s baby, Anderson, who was exactly 3 kilos.

Leong was accompanied by her husband Tony Zhao all through the surgery, who posted photos and news of the baby Friday morning. The couple, both having careers based in Taiwan, got married in 2010. After releasing 17 albums since 1999, Leong is known as the “queen of Chinese love songs.”

Luo, a rock singer who shot to fame at the age of 16, lost an eye at 18 and faded out of the show biz afterwards. She made a recent comeback in January on the popular TV series “I Am a Singer: Season 2,” but dropped out to give birth. Her husband is from the Netherlands, according to Sina.com.(Li Dan)
