Enjoying steaks and seafood at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen

    THIS summer, Belle-Vue at Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is presenting a lavish spread of steaks and seafood for its guests.

    Called Summer by Belle-Vue, the feast features all-you-can-eat steakhouse-style appetizers, a choice of soup, a main course choice, and unlimited desserts from the presentation counters. It is priced at 388 yuan (US$62.5) per person.

    Setting the stage for indulgence to follow, each guest will be presented with half a Boston lobster, Thermidor style or grilled with garlic-butter. Guests can sample from more than 10 appetizers at the presentation counters throughout the dining room.

    These classic steakhouse starters include freshly shucked U.S. Pacific oysters, Alaskan crabstuffed mushrooms, home-cured Norwegian salmon, traditional Caesar salad and more. For an intermezzo, guests can enjoy their choice of one of four classic soup varieties — Belle-Vue’s ever-popular lobster bisque, creamy mushroom soup, clam chowder or French onion soup.

    Guests will also have a wide selection of prime steaks and seafood. They can order the Belle-Vue Surf ‘n’ Turf platter, designed to be shared by two people. The platter features bacon-wrapped scallops, king prawns, beef tenderloin, a roasted spring chicken and lamb chops.

    Other items from the grill include a petite filet and shrimp combination with sauce Choron and a black pepper-crusted filet mignon with Hennessey X.O. cognac sauce. Various prime cuts of beef such as black Angus tenderloin and rib eye are also available. Guests who prefer seafood or other meats may choose the Norwegian salmon fillet, lemon-infused codfish, roasted spring chicken, or lamb or pork chops.

    The Summer by Belle-Vue is available for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.
