CHINA Southern Airlines (CSN) and Shenzhen Airlines have strengthened their presence in South Korea by opening more routes to Seoul.
Flight CZ3089 of CSN Shenzhen to Seoul made its maiden voyage Wednesday. The flight will operate every Wednesday and Saturday, departing Shenzhen at 9:30 a.m. and returning from Seoul at 2:30 p.m.
This is the airline’s second route to South Korea following its route to Jeju Island that opened earlier this year.
“The opening of the route to Seoul is another option for Shenzhen tourists heading to South Korea. Passengers can enjoy the beach on Jeju Island and the bustling urban life in Seoul,” the company said.
In another development, Shenzhen Airlines will also increase its routes to South Korea by adding four flights a week to Seoul starting Sept. 16, bringing the total number of flights to Seoul to 12 per week.
Flight ZH9035 will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, departing Shenzhen at 3:45 p.m. and arriving in Seoul at 8:10 p.m. It will return at 9:10 p.m. and arrive in Shenzhen at 11:40 p.m.
