THE renovations on Yueliangwan Boulevard in Nanshan District, which was criticized by truck drivers for its poor condition and facilities, were completed recently after one year of construction.

    The boulevard, the major road linking Qianhai with other parts of the city, is an important road for vehicles to access the ports in the city’s west.

    The renovation project included 4.44 km of road between Mawan Boulevard and Dongbin Road. The section between Mawan Boulevard and Xinghai Boulevard was built up into six lanes in two directions. The section between Xinghai Boulevard and Dongbin Road section was expanded into eight lanes.(Han Ximin)
