     2014-September-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    Ticket sales

TICKETS for high-speed trains departing from Shenzhen North Railway Station on Sunday, Monday and Oct. 7 are all sold out.

    Free tolls

TRANSPORTATION authorities will not charge toll fees on expressways during the National Day holiday on light vehicles with no more than seven seats. The peak time for vehicles to leave the city will be Tuesday and Wednesday and the peak time for returning vehicles will be Oct. 6-7. The city’s roads to Meisha beaches, Dapeng Peninsula, major tourist destinations could be easily congested.

    Metro services

SHENZHEN Metro services will be extended by one hour to midnight Wednesday and Thursday, and the operator expects to handle nearly 3 million passengers a day.

    Expressway advice

DRIVERS to Guangzhou and Dongguan during the holiday should take the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Riverside Expressway, transport officials said.

Drivers to Heyuan, Meizhou, Jiangxi and Fujian should use Yanpai, Boshen and Huihe expressways before turning onto Yuegan and Helong expressways.
