A CAPPELLA fans can apply to enter a competition organized by the Shenzhen Concert Hall until the end of this month. The first local a cappella competition, running between April 25 and May 9, will have contestants to compete in three categories: students (aged 10 and above), grown-ups (aged 18 and above) and B-Box (no age limit). Bands competing under the first two categories can have no more than eight members.

Winners in each category will be given free tickets to an a cappella concert staged at the concert hall and have the chance to perform at the Beautiful Sunday Benefit Concert on May 17. They will be also presented with certificates from the Shenzhen Concert Hall and Vocal Asia to acknowledge their talent.

Interested persons or groups can send brief information about their band, photos and a video of at least three songs (not necessary for B-Box category) recorded within the past year to acappellasz@163.com or to the show planning department at the Shenzhen Concert Hall.
