     2015-March-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Liu Yongzhong (R) poses for a picture after reaching the summit of Annapurna, the 10th-highest mountain in the world, March 24 (local time). Located in Nepal, the mountain is 8,091 meters high. Liu, a political adviser in Longgang District and vice head of Longgang District Mountaineering and Sports Association, and six other climbers reached the summit at about 3:30 p.m. March 24. Unfortunately, one of their team members, Sanuimanskka, in addition to a guide, slipped and fell to their deaths on the way down the mountain. Liu’s attempt to scale the mountain failed last year due to bad weather. Li Jianqiang
