LOBBY Lounge at Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen will present a series of mate tea drinks until April 19. Guests can enjoy the organic and flavored mate tea from Argentina and a selection of mate cocktails created by the Lobby Lounge team.

    A remarkably nutritious herbal drink from South America, mate tea is rich in vitamins and minerals, which are very good for eliminating toxins and slowing down the effects of aging. Mate tea is served in a hollow calabash gourd and a bombilla acts as straw, sieve and stirrer. The submerged end of the bombilla is flared, with small holes or slots that allow the brewed liquid in but block the chunky matter that makes up much of the mixture.

    Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen will present five mate tea flavors, including original, orange, citrus, pear and passion fruit. Guests can enjoy the tea served with either hot or iced water, both of which are equally refreshing. (SD News)
