    YAMAZATO, Hotel Okura Macau’s signature Japanese restaurant, is celebrating this month’s Tanabata Festival with an exclusive Tanabata Gozen lunch menu, a blend of Japanese fare both modern and traditional.

    Available until July 26, this fresh feast is inspired by the mythology and merriment of Tanabata — a Japanese festival originating from Chinese folklore. The Tanabata menu at Yamazato offers small cut somen noodles, a salad with carrot dressing, red miso soup and a dessert. Lunch is served from 12 to 3 p.m., MOP280 (US$35) per person.

    Feng Wei Ju at StarWorld Hotel is offering diners the authentic and exciting flavors of China’s Sichuan and Hunan regions under the expertise of elite Chinese chefs. In July, visitors can take advantage of a limited-time-only menu featuring new takes on regional classics such as Shanxi cold noodles with shrimp, spicy sizzling beef, Changsha shrimp, Chinese steamed meat buns and double boiled sweetened papaya with hashima.

    Belon at Banyan Tree Macau will present an exquisite summer truffle menu from July 15 to 27. Belon’s summer truffle dinner menu is available with three or five courses and may be tailored to include crab tartar with fresh papaya, sweet peas, white radish and shaved summer truffles; warm green pea ragout with diced summer truffles and blood sausage; or braised pork cheek ravioli with black quinoa and summer truffle vinaigrette. The three-course menu is priced at MOP598 per person while the five-course menu is priced at MOP698 per person. (SD News)
