Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen presents Sicilian delights
    2015-09-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SHANGRI-LA Hotel, Shenzhen presents a Sicilian menu with classic ingredients creatively prepared by executive chef Salvatore Coco at the 360° Bar, Restaurant and Lounge on the hotel’s 31st and 32nd floors until the end of October.

Guests will be immersed in a romantic atmosphere at the 360° restaurant, savoring the Sicilian cuisine and majestic view of Hong Kong’s new territory and the Shenzhen skyline. This experience provides everything from starters to desserts — a trip through Sicily on the dinner plate.

The starters include Sicilian caponata, sweet and sour and served with a slice of fried bread, along with smoked ricotta flakes, Mediterranean sea bass fillet on broad beans, “Macco” dressed with bottarga oil and more. The main course choices are sea bass fillet in potato crust with zucchini flan, roasted lamb chop, cardamom tuille and more. Other classic Italian dishes are rigatoni pasta with fresh tuna, pine nuts and citrus pesto, and deep-fried risotto balls served with a light fish broth. A variety of desserts are also available, such as a pistachio parfait with sweet cous cous and almond milk pudding with passion fruit.(SD News)
