    Graduate admission exam

    Online registration for the 2016 national graduate admission exam began on October 10 and will last until 10 p.m. on October 31.

    All candidates are required to confirm their information in person. There will be 26 registration locations in Guangdong Province this year for candidates to confirm their information from November 8 to 12.

    Candidates must show their ID, valid undergraduate certificate and their online registration serial code for verification.

    

    New school in Futian

    A new public school will be set up in Futian Free Trade Zone (FTZ) to ensure students living in the area will have access to a local public school.

    The new school, called Foreign Language Primary School of Futian FTZ, is currently Yitian Garden Private School, but it will soon be transformed into the new public school.

    However, unlike other public schools, the Futian government and Boya Education Group, which currently owns the private school, will jointly run the new school.

    

    Scientists lecture in SZ

    Shenzhen University held a launch ceremony for the “Science and China” campaign on Monday. During the next few days, 13 senior Chinese academics and scientists will give as many as 73 science lectures at local universities and schools. The lectures will cover areas such as physics, math, astronomy and earth and space sciences.

    “Science and China” first started in 2002 and has already organized over 1,200 reports and lectures to help popularize scientific subjects.(Zhang Qian)
