Fresh Vision
    2015-10-22  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Fresh Vision exhibition, first held in 2004, has been a stage for art students in China to show their graduation works. In the past, the exhibits were mostly oil paintings by students from nine major art academies. This year, the curatorial team has chosen a wider variety of works from a broader group of students in China. These include sculptures, experimental art works, prints, Chinese paintings and design works. Themed “Spy ... Magnify,” the exhibition showcases many works that take a deconstructive approach of observation and expression. That approach thrives in our age. With that in mind, this exhibition is an interesting experiment that provides a more accurate and complete view of China’s young creative power in art. The show will run until Sunday at the OCT Art & Design Gallery. (Li Dan)
