I was born and brought up in Shenzhen, China. I’m a 9-year-old Chinese boy. Now, I’m studying in Class 1, Grade 4, Haizhu Division, Xuefu Primary School.

    At home, I love my dear mom and dad. At school, I love my dear teachers and lovely classmates. Also, I love my hometown - Shenzhen. Of course, I deeply love my motherland — China.

    I like to go to school because in class, I like to answer my teachers’ questions. After class, I like to play games with my good friends, and I like to sing our national song with the Red Five-star Flag rising up toward the blue sky on Mondays. In this family, we help each other, make progress together.

    Since I was born and raised in Shenzhen, I’m much more familiar with it. In my eyes, Shenzhen is a beautiful garden. Everywhere, there are many colorful flowers, green trees and grasslands. Many free parks are crowded with older people, little children, students and lovers on weekends. Happy smiles often appear on their faces. I think it is a busy city also. Every day, my dad goes to work early in the morning, and often comes back home late at night. He works very hard like many other Shenzhen men and women. Dad told me that Shenzhen is full of strength, energy, invention, creativity and efficiency. I love Shenzhen because it watches me grow up.
