A few days ago our school had a special class meeting, in which we held a charity activity for sanitation workers. During the activity, we watched a video about the lives of the workers. After watching the video, we were deeply moved by their deeds. The work they do is so hard that it can make them fall ill! What surprised me the most was the workers who work in factories dealing with garbage. Their jobs have a bad effect on their health.

    When they work, they breathe in the harmful gases that trash produces when it burns. How dangerous it is! At the end of the activity, everyone donated one yuan to the sanitation workers.

    In summary, it’s every citizen’s duty to fight against pollution and protect our environment. We should produce as little garbage as we can. Only by working hard together can we reduce pollution and win this campaign.
