The 2015 graduation ceremony
    2015-12-23  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

With the end of the last test of the national college entrance examinations (NCEE) on June 8 Senior 3 students’ high school days ended. On the afternoon of June 11, 830 Senior 3 students came back to the school for their graduation ceremony. It was the last time that they were dressed in school uniforms in the gym together.

With students from each class seated orderly and cheerful music playing, the host announced, “Today we will graduate!” At that moment, all the students became very excited and the atmosphere became active. Then, a student named Wei Xin from Class 2 gave a speech. His speech represented the gratitude of 830 students for their school.

Finally, Principal Gao Miaotian delivered a speech. He passionately recalled and shared memories, such as gymnastics competitions, school sports meetings, the mock NCEE examinations and so on. At the same time, he also hoped that every graduate’s dreams would come true.

Then, a video that consisted of 40 teachers’ blessing messages brought the graduation ceremony to a climax. Finally, student representatives from each class presented flowers to their teachers, said thanks and gave them warm hugs.

The most surprising part was that our school invited CEO Guo Lie, the young creator behind popular computer program called Lianmeng, to speak as well. He said studying is very important, but refreshing your goal and updating your perceptions of the world are more important. Simply pursuing high grades at university is not good. Your ambition to change the world and determination to realize your dream will take you farther.
