Langham Place offers a spring feast
    2016-01-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

LANGHAM Place, Guangzhou is offering a range of propitious gourmet gifts and dining specials to celebrate the Year of the Monkey.

Two flavors of homemade pudding are available for guests to choose from daily. The turnip pudding with conpoy combines Japanese conpoy and fine Chinese sausage and has a slightly oily texture but a non-greasy taste. Made from coconut milk and glutinous rice, the coconut pudding offers a fresh and naturally sweet taste.

During the traditional festive season, executive Chinese chef Ting selects fine, auspicious ingredients for Ming Court’s signature dishes and bountiful delicacies featured in the restaurant’s complete reunion set meal. Whole lobster means a successful career and good fortune.

Cooked with smooth cheese, baked Australian lobster and e-fu noodles with cheese is one of the chef’s highly recommended main dishes on the reunion menu.

The freshness of salmon and organic vegetables is not the only reason to choose chilled sliced Norwegian salmon with assorted condiments.

Before enjoying this creative dish, guests should mix together all of the ingredients, which symbolizes receiving good luck together. Simmered with abalone sauce, braised fish maw and sea cucumber in oyster sauce will impress the guests with its rich pectin taste and umami flavors from the ocean.

Fresh oysters at The Open Kitchen highlight an array of mouthwatering varieties from France, Canada and Scotland that offer rich, succulent layers of flavors with each bite. The chef perfectly pairs these oysters with the freshest ingredients to whip up a dazzling selection of over 30 different dishes.

Alfresco presents a series of Western-style delicacies featuring premium Italian black truffles paired with the finest ingredients, including Boston lobster thermidor with Russian black truffle potato salad, pan-fried Chilean sea bass fillet with shrimp paste and black truffle, grilled Angus beef tenderloin with trumpet mushroom pate, and more.

    For a well-spent afternoon, Portal presents a Secret Garden-themed afternoon tea.(SD News)
