    “The Lord of the Rings” takes place in a land called Middle-Earth. Frodo, a Hobbit, lived with his uncle in Hobbiton. The Hobbits in Hobbiton were all very kind and friendly. They didn’t care about anything from the outside world, so they lived a happy and comfortable life.

    But one day, something happened. Frodo’s uncle, Bilbo, had a magic ring. The evil lord Sauron wanted the ring to use it as a secret weapon. If Sauron got this ring, he could conquer Middle-Earth. So Frodo had to destroy the ring.

    Darkness was falling, and Frodo left his hometown with his servant, Sam. The journey to Mordor was frightening and dangerous. Fortunately, he found eight friends who would go with him to Mordor. They arrived at Mount Doom and threw the ring into the lava.
