METRO lines 7, 9 and 11 will be put into service this year in Shenzhen while metro lines 6, 8 and 10 are still being constructed. The interiors of the stations along Metro Line 11 are almost complete while the construction of water and electricity lines and the air-conditioning system are in the final phase.

    Three new Metro lines will launch trial runs within the year, which will extend the length of the city’s Metro network by 400 kilometers.(Zhang Yang)
