    FUTIAN Shangri-La, Shenzhen presents a luxurious and nutritious gastronomic bird’s nest retreat at very reasonable prices through April 8. From set menus and a la carte dishes at Chinese restaurant Shang Garden to desserts at Cafe Zen, from takeaway items at Shang Gourmet to the exquisite high tea set at Lobby Lounge, you are sure to find something that will delight your taste buds.

    Lobby Lounge

    Lobby Lounge, the comfortable venue for business and leisure, offers a bird’s nest afternoon tea. Two afternoon tea options are prepared in Western and Chinese styles. Guests may enjoy such delicacies as mango and avocado roll with bird’s nest, bird’s nest macaroon, home-cured salmon with bird’s nest and tartlet. The bird’s nest afternoon tea is available from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. daily.

    Shang Garden

    The informal Chinese dining restaurant with Huaiyang signature dishes presents both a la carte dishes and set menus for the bird’s nest feast.

    Award-winning executive Chinese chef Anthony Dong creatively combines bird’s nest with Huaiyang cuisine. He uses time-honored recipes to bring out the nutritious value of the bird’s nest, which goes well with Chinese ingredients.

    Guests will find on the a la carte menu and set menus some specially designed dishes, such as bird’s nest with organic vegetable and quinoa, double-boiled bird’s nest with fish and bamboo pith, wok-fried bird’s nest with egg white and milk and more. The dishes are available for lunch and dinner.

    Cafe Zen

    Cafe Zen, the all-day-dining restaurant featuring international delicacies, offers a bird’s nest specialty weekend buffet dinner. Guests may enjoy nine types of unlimited desserts and sushi topped with bird’s nest, including bird’s nest egg tart, papaya and bird’s nest pudding, tuna tataki nigiri topped with bird’s nest and many more.

    The buffet is available from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Children aged 6 to 11 years old will enjoy a 50-percent discount when accompanied by an adult.

    Shang Gourmet

    Shang Gourmet, a lifestyle stopover outlet featuring fresh bread, coffee and snacks, presents bird’s nest pastries. Guests may dine in or take away a selection of bird’s nest desserts, including dark chocolate cup filled with creamy milk chocolate mousse topped with bird’s nest, baked coffee cheesecake topped with bird’s nest, homemade honey yogurt mousse with papaya jelly topped with bird’s nest and more.(SD News)
