Is this Amazon’s next Kindle?
    2016-04-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Amazon is set to release a new “top of the range” Kindle e-reader soon and it may have already leaked online.

The shopping giant’s Japanese website accidentally leaked the images, which have now been removed. It shows a “wedge shaped” device which can be flipped for either right or left handers, along with a battery case for added power and recharging.

According to the shots, which Amazon has not confirmed are real, the Kindle Oasis weighs 131 grams, which is 20 percent lighter than past models. It is 3.4 millimeters at its thinnest point and 8.5 millimeters at its thickest.

Amazon said it does not comment on “rumors or speculation*.” However, boss Jeff Bezos tweeted last week, saying “heads up readers” before revealing the surprise launch. “All-new, top of the line Kindle almost ready,” he continued. “8th generation. Details next week.”(SD-Agencies)
