Learning from mistakes
    2016-05-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

I have learned from Tang Ying’s highly effective strategy training lesson this week.

After having the lesson last Tuesday, I found that Tang Ying’s English class has become more and more interesting. I’m so happy studying English with Ms. Tang now.

In this lesson, Ms. Tang taught us how to apply “self-monitoring” and “self-evaluation.” I really appreciate Ms. Tang because she taught me how to correct and eliminate my mistakes. Before learning this lesson, correcting mistakes was always a big problem for me, but now I’m better.

From the lesson, I have realized that learning English is a process of making mistakes and correcting them.

Also, Ms. Tang classified common mistakes. Common mistakes include “verbs used as predicates” problems with “articles” and problems with “singular and plural forms of nouns.”

She also told us rules can be used in certain cases, but not in all cases. What’s more, she reminded to keep a notebook, so that I can see my mistakes and review regularly to avoid making them again. What a good method!

Following Ms. Tang’s study methods, I’m really having fun. I think I’m going to make progress with her!
