Hotel holds father-themed event
    2016-06-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen has prepared a series of parent-child games with the theme “perfect father” to strengthen the bond between family members on Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday. At the same time, families will get to enjoy food.

“Every father makes mistakes, but their love for their children is 100 percent,” said Terence Ng, director of food and beverage. On Father’s Day, fathers who have brunch or dinner at Cafe Zen will be entitled to a craft cocktail. Apart from preparing this special gift, the hotel has invited a professional photographer to take family photos. Meanwhile, guests can enjoy a free flow of red and white wine, beer, juice, coffee and tea.

Executive chef Adam Lin and his kitchen team will present international seafood, including oysters, lobster, salmon and crab. During brunch, Cafe Zen Terrance will present Australian barbecue. To top it off, this live station will offer three kinds of beer. Double-boiled “yang” soup is the signature dish for fathers at the Soup Station.

Instead of wearing their regular orange uniforms, on this special day, Cafe Zen staff will put on white Shangri-La T-shirts and jeans to create a relaxing atmosphere.(SD News)
