Lamborghini iTALIAN afternoon tea
    2016-08-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FROM Monday to Friday until Aug. 31, Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen will be creatively promoting the Lamborghini Italian afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge. Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen fuses classic Italian delicacies and the great Italian car brand Lamborghini, to let guests savor Italy’s culture and gourmet dishes.

Executive chef Adam Lin and executive sous chef Matthew McCool, who previously worked at two Michelin restaurants in Europe, diligently prepare the Lamborghini Italian afternoon tea inside a three-tiered tailor-made wooden hamper. Included in the menu are traditional Italian afternoon tea treats, such as nutella tiramisu, homemade waffles, cannolis and aged prosciutto ham.

Originating in Sicily, cannolis contain not only ricotta, but also chocolate drops, adding a layer of sweet flavor. Tiramisu is an Italian dessert containing coffee. Tiramisu mixes the bitterness of coffee, the creaminess of finger sponge cake and the taste of cocoa powder, giving it a full flavor. Apart from the traditional items, shaved beef tongue, arugula sandwiches with mustard and lemon, crab meat with avocado and cabbage on a charcoal soft roll, pistachio and almond nougat custard-filled zeppole are also presented.

Guests may also choose from coffee made from Italian Lavazza coffee beans, Italian specialty coffee, Italian sparkling wine, traditional Chinese tea or Western tea.

The Lamborghini Italian afternoon tea, priced at 258 yuan, 318 yuan and 518 yuan per set, is served for two persons. All prices are subject to a 10 percent service charge and applicable government taxes and value-added tax. For enquiries or reservations, please call 2151-3838.(SD News)
