Called magii Q, the table tennis ball-like device has reusable paste and a magnet behind, so it can be attached to any surface. The camera is remotely controlled by a smartphone using an app. And because it weighs 70g, these surfaces can be narrow poles or windowpanes. The distance for the device taking selfies is 25 meters. Once the 13-megapixel camera takes a photo, it automatically sends it back to your phone over Wi-Fi. Developed by Shenzhen company Xanndo, magii Q uses Sony CMOS sensor, digital signal processor and face recognition that make the camera more advanced than many of the front-facing cameras on mobile phones. At yesterday’s product launch ceremony, Xu Hailin, founder of Xanndo, said: “magii Q is a fun-sized camera and you’re no longer limited by the length of your arm or selfie stick. Your hands are free to do whatever.” The camera can also automatically beautify your photos when you are taking pictures, without using filters afterwards. It contains 8GB of built-in memory and its battery lasts for two hours of continuous photo shooting. |
