Leslie Cheung’s 60th birthday marked with previously unreleased tracks
    2016-09-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    前制片人发布四张未公开曲目纪念张国荣诞辰60周年

September 12 marked what would have been the 60th birthday of Hong Kong superstar actor and singer Leslie Cheung, who passed away in 2003.

To mark this very special occasion, Cheung’s former producer Alvin Leong had made available four of Cheung’s previously unreleased Mandarin tracks.

Grouped together in an EP titled “Leslie Cheung: Legend Continues,” the four songs were recorded by Cheung back in 1999.

Fans can now download the mini-album on Chinese digital streaming platform Kuwo.

After achieving tremendous* successes in music and film, Cheung committed suicide, reportedly due to depression, in April 2003.
