Lecture on education research projects
    2016-10-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

On April 13 and 14, our two campuses invited Doctor Zhu Lixia, the director of Bao’an District’s educational science research, to give our teachers a lecture on how to do research.

Firstly, Dr. Zhu pointed out the importance of doing education research for teachers’ professional development and suggested that teachers should be cogitative.

Secondly, she told the audience how to carry out a research project, focusing on topic selection application and how to finish your research.

Zhu said that it is necessary for teachers to carry out educational science research and that it has two advantages: rich research materials and optimal research positions. They should choose those topics that suit them.

Doing research is a serious job, and their research topic should be precise and logical.

What’s more, they should fit in with our laws and moral values. We should avoid choosing those high, big and empty topics.

Concerning research methods, we have literature reviews, questionnaires, case studies, observation methods and experience summary methods.

In the concluding report, we should add research achievements, research findings, guidance on future research and so on.

The lecture was easy to understand with rich and vivid cases.
