Shangri-La’s newest hotel to open next month
    2016-11-04  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

SET to unveil its second hotel in Harbin, in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced Songbei Shangri-La, Harbin is scheduled for a December 2016 opening. Occupying a prime position on the edge of the Songhua River’s north bank, the 344-room property will offer surrounding river and city views.

The new modern icon of luxury and elegance will grace the skyline of Songbei’s business district that is in the heart of a vibrant city.

With the modern traveler in mind, Songbei Shangri-La, Harbin will feature 33 executive serviced apartments and is conveniently located a mere five-minute drive from Harbin’s internationally renowned ice festival at the Ice and Snow World, and close to local attractions, namely the Sun Island Garden, Siberian Tiger Park and Harbin Great Theater.

“Having the opportunity to introduce a second Shangri-La in Harbin and ahead of the ice festival is exciting,” said Tyson Wang, general manager of Songbei Shangri-La, Harbin. “Our intentions are to deliver rich and unique experiences that not only embrace the vibrancy of the fabled city of ice, but also the hospitality of the Shangri-La brand.”(SD News)
