Considerate teacher

    Mary has asked for a sick leave twice this month. The first time she said she had a headache, and the second time she said she had a stomachache.

    Now she wants another day off but is short of a good excuse.

    The teacher is very considerate. So he asks Mary, “Is it that you have a sore throat this time?”

    When the teacher asked his students to turn in their fine art homework, Mary submitted a white paper.

    The teacher was puzzled. “What did you paint?” he asked.

    “A cow grazing on the grassland.”

    “Where is the grassland?”

    “The cow has eaten all the grass.”

    “Where is the cow?”

    “It has left since there is no grass left.”
