LG has revealed its new flagship smartphone, the G6, which features a screen that fills almost the entire front panel of the device. The G6 display measures 5.7-inches and also features Dolby Vision technology which increases color, brightness and contrast. Its 18:9 format enables users to open two square app windows side by side, allowing them use both at the same time. The display also supports high dynamic range (HDR*) technology and can process 1 billion different colors, LG says. The G6 can be immersed in water for up to 30 minutes. The phone will house 32GB or 64GB of storage, which can be expanded via micro-SD and has 13 megapixel* dual rear cameras. It also offers a G6 Game Collection, which has six games: Temple Run 2, Spider-Man Unlimited, Crossy Road, SimCity BuildIt, Cookie Jam and Genies & Gems. Made from aluminium* and glass, it comes in three colors - black, platinum* and white. The metal frame that wraps around the perimeter of the phone makes it stronger and has a soft matte finish. Rounded corners mean the phone is less likely to break if it is dropped. The G6 has Google Assistant built-in. (SD-Agencies) |
