    Two limited-edition David Bowie albums due for Record Store Day

    Parlophone Records is prepping two limited-edition David Bowie albums for this year’s Record Store Day. The never-released “Cracked Actor” (Live in Los Angeles 1974) and the “Hunky Dory”-era “BOWPROMO” will both hit shelves on April 22.

    ‘Song to Song’ premieres at SXSW

    Stars Michael Fassbender, Rooney Mara and Ryan Gosling were all on hand to introduce their new film “Song to Song” as it kicked off the film portion of the annual SXSW Conference & Festivals at the historic Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas, on March 10.

    ‘La La Land’ concert to debut at Hollywood Bowl

    Lionsgate is bringing Damien Chazelle’s hit film “La La Land” to Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on May 26-27 with the world premiere of “La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration.”

    The event will feature a 100-piece symphony orchestra, choir and jazz ensemble accompanying the film’s original vocal recordings with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Oscar-winning composer Justin Hurwitz will conduct.

    George Michael died of natural causes

    George Michael died as a result of heart and liver disease, a coroner has confirmed.

    The pop star was suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, according to Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire. (SD-Agencies)
