这朵云会下龙舌兰酒 Tequila is normally drunk in shots or in margaritas, but in Germany, it was raining the stuff. From a cloud. It was a bid by the Mexican Tourist Board to lure Germans to the sunny shores of Mexico. To entice them it enlisted the help of advertising agency Lapiz USA to create a cloud of tequila at Urban Spree in Berlin. Lapiz used ultrasonic* humidifiers* to vibrate tequila at the right high frequency to turn it into mist. The tequila was then pushed into an invisible plastic structure where sprays of tequila mixed with the vapor formed the cloud. The vapor and sprays of tequila condensed* inside the plastic, then drops formed the cloud, under which drinkers held out their shot glasses. Finally, to help with the “raining tequila” theme, a computer was integrated to control the cloud, programming it to rain. “The idea is to provide an interactive experience that instantly transports Germans tired of the cold winters to the warm Mexico by triggering their tastebuds with tequila,” said Luciana Cani, Lapiz USA’s executive creative director.
