Hype around the new Nokia 3310 has been growing since details emerged back in February. Rumors of the release date of the much anticipated handset have been circulating since it was announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), held in Spain. Some U.K. technology retail site Clove has opened pre-orders for the mobile for delivery in mid-June. The new Nokia 3310, with a slick look that pays homage to its original design, has four color options, warm red, dark blue, yellow and grey. The iconic handset was a massive hit with users back in 2000 and the relaunched version will include a month-long battery, 22 hours of talk-time, and even its popular “snake” game. While the handset looks similar to its predecessor, Nokia has brought its new model up to date and instead of the original display, a monochrome* 84 x 84, it has a color screen. However, it has limited Internet capabilities, relying on 2.5G connectivity, with users browsing at speeds slower than if they were using 3G. It also has a single camera which has just two megapixels*.(SD-Agencies) |
