Pixar’s ‘Coco’ trailer presents colorful Land of the Dead
    2017-06-09  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE afterlife never looked so good. “Once every year, our ancestors come back to our world to see family and friends,” a narrator explains in the new trailer for Pixar’s film, “Coco.” “But no living person has ever visited their world — until now.”

Newcomer Anthony Gonzalez voices Miguel, who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician. Following a strange series of events, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead. Together with trickster Hector (voiced by “Mozart in the Jungle” star Gael García Bernal), they set off on an epic adventure to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history and get him back to the land of the living.

Benjamin Bratt and Renee Victor also lend their voice talents to the film. Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”) helmed the pic with co-director Adrian Molina. Darla K. Anderson (“Toy Story 3”) produced.

“Coco” is set to hit theaters Nov. 22.(SD-Agencies)
