Malaysian culinary a highlight at hotel
    2017-09-29  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

MANDARIN Oriental, Sanya is anticipating the arrival of chef Kamarudin Bin Dali from Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, who will bring the excellence unique to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s culinary reputation to the city between Sept. 30 and Oct. 5.

Known for his deep passion for the culinary scene, the Malaysian chef who is called Din has won various awards throughout his career that include accolades from the Chef Association of Malaysia.

During gourmet week at Pavilion, Din and his culinary team will present menus that provide guests a unique opportunity to delight in authentic Malaysian dishes and his signature creations. These rendang daging temasik are inspired by the chef’s family’s secret recipe; udang goreng ulam sauce offers a modern interpretation of this classic dish; and those with a sweet tooth can sample the traditional Malaysian dessert sago gula melaka. Guests can choose a la carte selections for lunch and dinner or a special barbeque buffet dinner on Saturday night.

Guests visiting Sanya are invited to book the Holistic Wellness Journey room package to make the most of their stay. Those staying in the luxurious guestroom for two consecutive nights will receive a personalized consultation with visiting wellness practitioner Dr. Buathon Thienaroom and a 60-minute Holistic Healing spa treatment at the award-winning Spa.(Maggie Tang)
