ROSEWOOD Hotels & Resorts opened the ultra-luxurious brand’s first mainland Chinese resort, Rosewood Sanya, on Aug. 21. The resort offers exquisite dining and exceptional service on the paradise island of Sanya in Haitang Bay. Three restaurants and two lounges focusing on traditional Hainanese cuisine, Asian flavors and European-inspired dishes combined with the charming interior designs which reflect Rosewood’s “A Sense of Place” philosophy, guests are invited to savor extraordinary dining experiences. Located in Rosewood Sanya’s plaza adjacent to the magnificent arrival lobby and surrounded by lush foliage, The Fishmonger is a market-style, interactive seafood village with pavilions, an open kitchen and centralized dining area. Upon arrival to The Fishmonger, the focal point is the long line of tanks filled with the freshest catches of the day. During the day, Chop House is a casual gathering spot for families and friends to meet and relax next to the pool. Guests can enjoy comfort food, sparkling prosecco and fresh juices. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant features a menu of surrounding grill including dry-aged beef on grill, house-cured hams and salamis, and fresh, seasonal local produce. Located on the 13th floor and overseeing the panoramic South China Sea, East Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily for guests to enjoy featuring mainly Southeast Asian cuisine. HAI is an infinity poolside bar located on the 13th floor rooftop with spectacular beach and ocean views. Its relaxing ambience combined with upbeat music played by a resident DJ offers guests the ideal spot to enjoy light refreshments, exquisite cocktails and premium wines. (SD News) |
