    2018-January-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Meaning:

“你的” means “your,” “良心” means “conscience,” “不会” is a form of negation, and “痛” means to “hurt.” This saying, asked as a rhetoric question, literally means “doesn’t your conscience hurt?” A popular saying used by Chinese netizens in 2017 to complain about the wrongs done to them by others, this sentence confronts the wrongdoers: “don’t you feel guilty?” People sometimes use the saying jokingly.

Example:

Nǐ zěnme zǒu dào diàntī kǒu yòu huílái le?

Why have you come back after walking to the elevator?

Wǒ hūrán juédé kǒukě xiǎng hēshuǐ。

I suddenly felt thirsty and want to drink more water.

Nǐ běn dǎsuàn gàn shénme qù?

What’s your original plan?

Ná kuàidì a。

Go and pick up my parcel.

Zhème lěng de tiān, ràng xiǎogē zài lóuxià děng, nǐ de liángxīn bùhuì tòng ma?

So you have the delivery guy waiting downstairs in such cold weather. Don’t you feel guilty?
