A Ding adinglily@hotmail.com E-COMMERCE business executives from all over the world will gather in Shenzhen from April 20 to 21 to celebrate the growth and expansion of the e-commerce industry between China and the world. In line with the trade show season, the two-day Cross Border Summit will include intense mastermind sessions, detailed workshops and exciting networking parties. There will also be opportunities to attend the Canton Trade Fair in Guangzhou and make various factory visits. This year’s summit has attracted a host of international speakers, including Brian Johnson, Danny McMillan and Will Tjernlund, with a particular focus on Amazon FBA business. Global From Asia, the organizer of the summit, is aiming to provide a platform for businesses to gather and share knowledge on importing and exporting and to help them develop their professional network. Michael Michelini, founder of Cross Border Summit and Global From Asia, said, “Our first summit in 2016, second in 2017, combined with a new ‘MatchMaker’ meeting in the fall of last year, have done amazing things to bring together top Chinese and international e-commerce sellers and industry players. Now that those partnerships have been forged, in 2018, we’re ascending to the next level.” According to Michelini, this year the summit plans to push the bar even higher and challenge the status quo. He said, “This summit is all about making long-term relationships — ‘business deals’ — with other leaders in the industry.” |
