Dutch band The Royal Engineers will perform at Brown Sugar Jar tonight, bringing a night of pop and rock tunes. Influenced by The Beatles, The Police, Fleetwood Mac and Herman Brood, the group from Utrecht is known for their catchy pop songs injected with a big dose of rock. Inspired by 70s pop, they manage to create a show filled with groovy and original pop rock. In 2016 the band released their debut EP “One” and did several gigs on national radio and television. In January 2017, The Royal Engineers played their first tour in the United States during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah and recorded a music video for their latest release “Hit It & Do It Again.” They’ve recently performed their single on Dutch national television.
