Flight to Wenshan

CHINA Southern Airlines will open a flight from Shenzhen to Wenshan in Yunnan Province on March 27.

Flight CZ3233, via Nanning, will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing from Shenzhen at 10:30 a.m. The return flight, CZ3234, leaves from Wenshan at 5:05 p.m.

Travelers to scenic spots in Wenshan will enjoy up to a 70-percent discount by providing their boarding cards as evidence, according to a briefing from Wenshan Prefecture in Shenzhen.

The Puzhehei 4A tourism area in Wenshan covers 388 square kilometers and has 256 scenic spots. It boasts rare and unique karsts-style wetland scenery, featuring 360 isolated peaks, 90 limestone caves, 54 lakes and a vast area of lotus flowers.

LUOHU District Federation for Disabled Persons will pilot a courtesy park program at Donghu Park that will offer an easily accessible environment and organize regular activities for disabled persons. It will be the first park for disabled persons in Luohu District, a meeting of the federation said.

The program will cover all parks in Luohu District after the practice proves successful.
