Didi Chuxing announced Thursday that its food delivery business had captured one-third of the market share just three days after its beta launch in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.

It has rolled out plans for food delivery service in more cities.

“We appreciate the support and trust of our first users, business partners and delivery captains during the trial operation,” said Luo Wen, head of Didi’s food delivery service.

“We are seeing quite an overwhelming response from the market. At the right time, we will complete this trial phase as swiftly as possible and officially launch a service that earns the trust of users, business partners and delivery captains, and lets more users enjoy high-quality food delivery service from Didi.”

报道中的beta launch就是“试运营”，指软件发行测试版，一般新软件发布的过程包括pre-alpha, alpha, beta, release candidate, RTM, GA和live release这些不同阶段。Beta launch可以是closed beta launch (内部测试版), 也可以是public beta launch (公开测试版)。
