High pay for talents

SHENZHEN Institute of Information Technology is offering considerable remuneration to top-notch talents, the university announced Saturday during the 16th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals.

The university will pay 2.4 million yuan (US$381,600) a year for full-time instructors who are outstanding national talents with State-approved certificates. Certified talents at the provincial and municipal levels are also sought after.

The university is planning to recruit 133 to 195 high-end talents by 2020, along with some research and innovation groups.

Talent policy

TALENT teams starting up businesses in Longhua can get accumulative subsidies of up to 28 million yuan over five years from authorities in the district, according to a plan released at the Conference on International Exchange of Professionals. The subsidies include funds for research, startup costs and rent.
