HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO BRIDGE READY TO GO
    2018-04-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A bird’s-eye view of the eastern artificial island and Hong Kong section of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in this photo released yesterday. The plan for the official opening date of the bridge has been submitted to the Central Government for approval, according to Hong Kong authorities recently. The project is a bridge-tunnel system, which consists of a series of three cable-stayed bridges and one undersea tunnel, as well as three artificial islands, spanning the Lingdingyang channel, that connects Hong Kong with Macao and Zhuhai. The 55-kilometer link is among the longest fixed-links in the world.China News Service
