坪山高级中学学生斩获国际创设大赛五项大奖 将参加国际总决赛

The 2018 IC China District Rematch, organized by the organizing committee of the International Youth Innovation Design Competition (IC), CIEI and HKY, was held in Beijing from March 31 to April 1. Six teams of first- and second-year high school students from Shenzhen Pingshan High School attended the games and fetched five first-place prizes, successfully entering the finals.

A total of over 1,200 students of 244 teams from well-known schools across the country, including Tsinghua University High School, Harbin No.3 High School, Zhejiang University associated high school, Shenzhen Middle School, Shenzhen No.2 Experimental School, and Hengshui No.1 High School, took part in the competition.

The six teams from Shenzhen Pingshan High School chose the three most difficult projects. In December last year, the school started to form teams for the competition and gained support from the school leaders and teachers including headmaster Wang Zhuhua. To prepare for the rematch, the tutor and the students carried out a strict training plan which combined self-study with team work.

Of them, the Rocket Team and the Wind Lunar Team will attend the global finals to be held at the Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin, a university in Germany in July, while the Zhizunbao, Buzhoushan and Chaoxingxing teams will attend the global finals to be held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States.
