For the lolz 开个玩笑
    2018-04-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: Wow, you had your hair dyed pink! Why on earth did you do that?

B: I just did it for the lolz!

A: You look very funny!

B: It’s my birthday today and I thought I’d do something fun.

Note: This Internet-era slang term means “for fun” or “as a joke.” LOL, or in lower case, is an acronym for “laughing out loud” or “lots of laughs.” Lolz is simply the plural form. Another variation, spelled “lulz,” is often used to denote laughter at someone who is the victim of a prank, or a reason for performing an action.
