Shenzhen’s traffic police authority signed an agreement with the city’s food and e-bike associations to jointly carry out the management of e-bikes in terms of entry criterion, personnel management and rewards, among others as part of the efforts to reduce e-bike related accidents. Between January and April this year, Shenzhen reported 136 e-bike-related accidents and 35 people were killed, accounting for 38 percent of the total fatal accidents.Sun Yuchen
